Each page provides information about one character: its origin (etymology), its description and a funny illustration (illustrations by cartoonist Tan Huay Peng). Shows in which words and sentences this hieroglyph is used.
All hieroglyphs are given in traditional and simplified spelling, the order of strokes is indicated, and the reading is in phonetic transcription # pinyin.
A very nice book, it helps well both for independent study and in teaching at the initial stage.
