The Comprehensive Dictionary of Chinese Characters (Chinese Trad. 漢語大字典, Exercise 汉语大字典, Hanyu Datszydyan) is one of the largest dictionaries of Chinese characters. Contains over 50 thousand hieroglyphs. Compiled since 1979 by 400 editors. In a separate volume, descriptions of the lexicographic difficulties that the authors had to face were presented.
